General terms and conditions.
1 - Performance of the service.
We offer car rental services under the brand "Offer Car Hire". It is important to note that, although we use the "Offer Car Hire" brand, the vehicle rental service will be provided by our partner company, Orlando Rent a Car. We act as intermediaries in the reservation and coordination of the service. Therefore, by accepting these terms and conditions, you understand and agree that the rental vehicles and services will be provided by Orlando Rent a Car, and any agreement or transaction related to the rental of vehicles will be subject to the terms and conditions of Orlando Rent a Car. We do not own the vehicles used in the rental service; however, we strive to ensure quality and satisfaction of service through our collaboration with Orlando Rent a Car. For more information on Orlando Rent a Car's specific terms and conditions, we recommend that you review their documentation provided during the reservation process or contact them directly.
2 - Age restrictions, licenses and exceptions
The minimum age of the driver must be 21 years and have a driver's license valid for at least 1 year for all groups except for groups F and G where the minimum age is 25 years and have a driver's license valid for at least 2 years. Drivers who are under 21 years old, but who have a driver's license valid for at least 2 years, will be allowed to rent a vehicle under the young driver concept. There is no maximum age limit as long as the customer has a valid driver's license. Drivers holding a license that is written in non-standard text, such as those issued in Russia or China, must present an international driving permit (IDP).
3 - Vehicle modifications, cancellations and non-pickup
Customers are allowed to make unlimited changes to their reservation or cancel before the pickup date. Please allow adequate time for modifications to be processed. If a modification to a reservation alters the value of a rental, Offer car hire will use the rates currently in force to calculate this amount. When it is not possible to modify a reservation, such as lack of availability, we may reject the modification. A reservation cannot be canceled once the vehicle has been served. When a customer wishes to collect their vehicle at an office other than the one reserved, they will be charged a transfer fee, equivalent to a one-way fee.
4 - Rent in offices that serve airports.
For reservations that have airport pickup, customers must wait for an Orlando rent a car representative at the specified meeting point (each airport will have specific instructions that can be found highlighted and will be sent to the email provided at the time to complete the reservation. Our airport offices are located outside the airport, Orlando rent a car has a completely free transfer service to its offices. Reservations served outside of our airport office hours (10:01 p.m. - 7:59 a.m.) are subject to an after-hours (night-time) fee, regardless of the time specified in the reservation. If a reservation is served by an office outside the airport, the rental vehicle must be returned to this same office at the end of the rental and not directly to the airport, unless airport parking service has been requested or permitted in advance. Out-of-schedule reservations containing incomplete or erroneous flight information will not be confirmed/served. Hotel delivery and pick-up service is not available from the airport.
5 - Rentals in our offices (downtown).
Hotel pickup and drop-off service can be requested at locations within a reasonable distance of our offices for a fee. Please contact our reservations department to request this service. Reservations made at a downtown office must be during office hours. It is not allowed to serve a vehicle after hours at local offices (downtown). Some offices allow you to return the vehicle after hours.
6 - General terms.
It is necessary to present your passport or ID, driving license and a valid credit card when picking up the vehicle. Vehicles will be held for 2 hours after the time specified in the booking, vehicles not picked up within this time may become unavailable. Specific brand/model preferences are subject to availability at time of rental. The rental made is not necessarily linked to a specific vehicle (make-model, color, equipment, etc.) but to a group of vehicles with similar technical and habitability characteristics. Rental days are based on 24-hour periods beginning at the time of pickup. Additional daily charges will apply if a vehicle is held longer than specified (additional days begin after a 2-hour grace period and will be billed at the publicly available rate). We accept payments from the following credit cards: Diners Club, Euro Card, Master Card, Visa, Visa Electron. If you have to leave a deposit, Diners Club cards are not allowed. The credit card holder must be one of the drivers stipulated in the rental contract. All drivers must provide a valid driver's license and ID when picking up the vehicle. Reservations must be received and confirmed at least 2 hours before vehicle pickup. At the end of the rental, vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel at which they were picked up. Otherwise, a charge for the difference in fuel will be generated. Rentals do not have any restrictions on the number of kilometers traveled. All prices seen on the website include taxes. Orlando rent a car reserves the right to cancel the delivery of the vehicle in case of justified doubts about the client's financial capacity or due to the client's history of non-payments or serious incidents with Orlando rent a car. Mandatory supplements such as night stays, airport parking, transfer between branches (one-way) or young driver, may not be included in the final price of your reservation and you will be informed at the time of collecting the vehicle. On certain occasions Orlando rent a car may require the client to deposit a deposit by card even after having contracted Total Protection or Orlando premium insurance.
7 - Deliveries and returns.
For rentals that return the vehicle to a location other than the pickup location, there will be a one-way charge. Under no circumstances can vehicles be taken outside the island that was rented. Orlando Rent a Car does not currently offer seaport services.
8 - Insurance and deposits.
When collecting a rental vehicle, the driver must provide a valid credit card with sufficient credit to cover the excess/deposit. The deposit will be blocked or charged to a credit card. Currently, the deposit amount varies between €300 and €1200, depending on the vehicle group and booking product. Debit cards are accepted on the condition that the driver takes out Orlando Rent a Car's full protection insurance. All rentals include mandatory civil liability insurance. The exact deposit and excess amount will be confirmed in the voucher that you will receive in your email once the reservation is confirmed. It is not allowed to circulate in areas not suitable for public transport, such as beaches, forest roads, dirt roads or other unpaved surfaces; It will not be covered by any of our insurance. Customers will cover the full amount of damage caused as a result. In the event of an accident or damage, the local office will determine the severity of the damage caused. If an excess applies to the rental, Orlando rent a Car will take one of the following 3 options. 1st For minor damages, only the total deposit will be retained. 2nd for severe damages the total deductible will be retained. 3rd For negligent damage, the full cost of the damage will be charged. The cost of damage is determined using a rate table maintained by Orlando Rent a Car. This table specifies the total cost of the repair, including labor. In addition to the repair, where applicable an administrative fee, a holding fee will be added and any recovery fees will also be covered by the amount withheld. The repair damage rate table can be requested from Orlando Rent a Car as part of our accident reporting package. This packet also contains general information on how we assess damage, terms, estimated repair bill, photos, and accident report. The package must be requested from [email protected]. All vehicles are equipped with a safety vest and emergency triangle. It is not allowed to transport animals in vehicles. No Orlando Rent a car insurance covers theft, loss or damage to personal belongings. Customers who have purchased insurance from a third party and not directly from Orlando rent a car will still be required to leave a deposit and provide a valid credit card with sufficient funds to cover the entire excess. Orlando Rent a Car will store information related to a recorded accident. This information may be requested at any time by the parties involved or by any legal representative on their behalf. Where a third party has admitted liability and paid the costs of an accident, Orlando Rent a Car will refund the customer the amount of deposit or deductible withheld at the time of the accident. Please note that costs not reimbursed by a third party such as administration, immobilization or recovery fees, will not be refunded to the customer. At this time, Orlando Rent a Car does not charge fees or penalties for losing points on your driver's license.
9 - Negligence and not permitted.
Customers who have committed negligence will not be covered by any of Orlando Rent a Car's insurance or vehicle excess and will be subject to additional charges. Actions that will be considered negligent or not in accordance with the terms of the rental agreement: Driving in areas not suitable for public transportation, such as beaches, forest roads, dirt roads or other unpaved surfaces that could cause damage to the underside of the vehicle. Driving the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Driving while using a mobile phone or other portable device. Loss or damage to vehicle documentation and/or keys. Currently it is not allowed to take the vehicle off the island of Gran Canaria. Failure to inform Orlando Rent a Car of a car malfunction indicated by an alert on the car's dashboard and continuing to use the vehicle. Transport of dangerous or flammable substances. Transportation of pets, animals or cargo. Using the vehicle for illegal or unauthorized activities. Subcontract the vehicle to another person/s. Transporting items on the roof of a vehicle where there is no authorized support for it. Wetting the interior or exterior of the vehicle beyond what would be expected after reasonable care of the vehicle. Damage caused to a vehicle after personal items are left visible inside the vehicle. The vehicle is driven by a person/s not authorized to do so or not mentioned in the rental contract. Use of the vehicle beyond the dates specified in the rental contract.
10 - Claims / Refunds / Compensation.
When a customer signs the rental contract, he means that he has accepted the provided vehicle. We cannot accept complaints made after this time. If a customer is not satisfied with the vehicle provided, he must report her concerns before signing the rental contract or during the rental period. Orlando Rent a Car will apply an administration fee if you receive a traffic ticket. Please note that Orlando Rent a Car can only process a refund to a customer within 30 days of vehicle pickup. Payments after this time must be made by the intermediary in the form of a refund.
11 - Holidays.
Official holidays in Spain will apply. In addition, each city will take another two public holidays for local festivals that are agreed annually.
